Announcement No. 5, 2020 of the Ministry of Commerce, the General Administration of Customs of the Peoples Republic of China
Since April 1, the exporter should provide a written or electronic statement when declare to the China customs, for covid-19 virus test kits, medical masks, medical protective clothing, ventilators, and infrared thermometer. Commitment to the export products have obtained China medical equipment product registration certificate, conform to the requirements of the importing countries (regions) quality standards approved by the customs by the pharmaceutical supervisory and administrative department of medical equipment product registration certificate requirement. The customs will release the medical device product with registration certificate approved by the pharmaceutical supervisory and administrative department.
Currently all covid-19 virus export materials are under strict customs inspection and more than 80% of export are under customs manual inspection. Therefore all kind of covid-19 related export are strongly recommended to do documentary compliance review before shipment. Please be kindly advised to purchase the materials only from qualified and legitimate suppliers & manufacturers.
